You still cannot see your entire FX chain without having to use your mouse to scroll, if you have more than about 6 FX loaded, unless you are in Pedalboard mode.īottom line here, this software is well worth the price. My biggest complaint though, is the user interface can be scaled up to 125% and 175%, however it just makes everything bigger. Seems to be a common problem I have found out, and hopefully will be addressed soon. Pretty much to the point of rendering it useless. Sometimes it is just NOISEY for no reason.

However 2 things need to be addressed still. The latest update addressed both of those problems. Anymore than that and Cubase would crash (could load many instances of Bias Amp). Additionally I could only load 1 instance of Bias FX2 in Cubase. Intially when I bought it, Bias Amp wouldn't work when computer was offline (or when their server was down). If you feel extra creative you can dive into Bias Pedal and Bias Amp and build your own custom FX and Amps complete with custom graphics, and bring them back into Bias FX2 or use them on their own. The Guitar Match feature sounds really good, but is bit glitchy (Read Below). I have never used the Amp Match feature, but the Amp Matches I have downloaded all seem to be really good so far. I don't really use the looper function, but I probably would if it include at least a basic drum machine, but it will play MIDI files. The tuner is accurate, and foot-switchable with mute option.

Also each preset can have 4 foot-switchable scenes, perfect for setting up clean, rhythm and lead variations. You can create 8 quick snapshots to quickly change between presets without menu diving. And there loads of FX, amps and speakers to choose from, including thousands to download in the ToneCloud. You can create single or dual amp chains. The work flow is really straight forward and intuitive. I control it with a Behringer FCB1010, and it works flawlessly. I bought this for use as both stand-alone and within Cubase Pro 11, and both work great (Cubase requires Bias FX2 to be on a group channel or FX channel if you want to use it with mono tracks, and have it output in stereo). This bundle offers all of Positive Grid's computer software, except for the Celestion Modern Speaker IR's (Worth the investment just for the Creamback IR's).
